Unfortunately
our world is full of brokenness and despair ...
Everday people look for cures to ailments that
have no natural solutions. Many people feel empty. They feel lonely and
have become so conditioned to their sickness, (a soul sickness) that they
believe they are beyond redemption, or think they are alright where they
are at because they, "manage."
First of all, I want you to know that God does not want you to just manage
or "get by." He wants you to live. He created you to KNOW HIM.
To KNOW His plan for your life. He wants you to accept the sacrifice He
made for you. The trouble is, we don't often accept a gift from someone
we don't know or trust.
Can I Trust God?
The answer is yes. He is good. He is patient. He is gentle and kind. Over
the past decade - due to human pride and moral failure, many people have
been 'turned off' by the church and repelled thoughts of God because they
have a warped perception of who He is. I ask you now to release those
thoughts. Separating yourself from them is vital so that you can take
your first step toward your Creator and the TRUTH of who He was and still
is. Maybe you have had a tragedy in your life or in your family and
you are very angry at God. Maybe you don't know His kindness, patience
or goodness. And I'm telling you that it's time for you to be free from
the pain you feel ... God made a Way.
Jesus
... God's Sinless Sacrifice ...
Many
people know of Jesus.
He is recognized as one of the greatest teachers and prophets of all time
... but few actually know Him. In the Old Testament there was a sacrifical
system set up to atone for the people's sin. For each sin there was a
specific sacrifice. Compelled by His love for creation, God sent a perfect
sacrifice that would seal redemption for mankind forever. As a matter
of fact, Jesus bore all of our sins ... past, present and future on His
cross.
There was never
a moment when Jesus said, "...
This or that sin is too great for My sacrifice..." The power of sin
and guilt does not outweigh the power of His blood at work in our lives.
He Himself said that He did not come to condemn the world ... God's greatest
desire is that the world THROUGH CHRIST would be saved.
The
scripture says, He who knew not sin, became sin for us, that we
might attain to the righteousness of God through Him. It also tells us,
None are righteous, no not one, for all have sinned and fallen
short of the Glory of God. The scripture also says, The wages
of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life, to all that
believe, through Jesus Christ our Lord.
The
Apostle Paul said, We are saved by Grace through Faith and that,
not of ourselves, It is the Gift of God, not as a result of works, lest
any one should boast. Jesus said, For God so loved the world, that
He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him would not
perish, but has everlasting life. Jesus died for our sins as our perfect
sacrifice, saving us from judgment and eternal separation form God. History
shows that Jesus is both Lord and Savior to all who believe. So, we have
learned that we are all sinners and that the wages of sin is death. However,
we are also made aware that Jesus is our perfect sacrifice and that he
paid our sin debt by shedding His sinless blood for all who believe in
Him as Lord and Savior.
How
can I know for sure?
There are so many creeds and religious beliefs in the world today.
But let me tell you what I have found, man's religion teaches them
to 'manage' their sin. Whatever it might be. Anger, pride, lust, adultery....
True Christianity is not a religion. It is a relationship. And when you
step into this relationship, Jesus does not require you to manage you
guilt or your sin. He begins working in your heart to set you completely
free from all of it. His gift of love and remption will change any man,
woman or child from the INSIDE OUT.
The Bible is very clear on what happens to a man or woman who doesn't
accept accept God's gift of salvation, not because He is unfair, but because
He is sinless and holy and His holiness demands that there be a covering
for sin. And the TRUTH is that Jesus Christ is the ONLY WAY to God. His
is the ONLY NAME by which a man can be saved. Not only does the Bible
tell us so, but we must also look at the lives of millions of believers
around the world who have been healed, set free from suicide, depression,
anger, addictions, fear, guilt, selfishness, etc. Notice I didn't say
that they MANAGE their sin. Jesus Christ moved into their life and set
them free.
Do you long for this freedom? To know Him who is Life, Peace, Health and
Strength? Romans 10:9-10 tells us that, "If thou shalt confess with
thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath
raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man
believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto
salvation." If you choose to accept the sinless sacrifice made for
you by Jesus Christ, I invite you to pray with me:
"Heavenly
Father, I come to You in the Name of Jesus. Your Word says, whosoever
shall call on the Name of the Lord shall be saved (Acts 2:21). I am calling
on You Name. I pray and ask Jesus to come into my heart and be Lord over
my life according to Romans 10:9-10. 'If thou shalt confess with thy mouth
the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised
Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.' And I now CONFESS and
BELIEVE that Jesus is Lord of all.
